The government Covid-19 briefings quickly became a daily fixture in my household during the August 2021 covid outbreak. Each afternoon everyone would crowd around the TV to find out the latest covid news.

Looking for photographic opportunities I pointed my camera the television and began photographing the hand movements of the sign language translators. Due to the nature of the long exposure the photographs capture the dynamic nature of the signs as they interpret the Prime Ministers message.
